Shift Lead

Position Reports to: Park Manager

Job Purpose Summary: Oversee Lifeguards and Front Desk Operators on their assigned shift.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise Lifeguards and Front Desk Operators.
  2. Ensure customers watch the safety video before entering the jump area.
  3. Ensure customer safety while in the park.
  4. Check each customer for valid waiver and help those without a waiver complete one.
  5. Complete the shift report at the end of the shift.
  6. Greet guests.
  7. Test and inspect park trampolines for safety and maintenance issues.
  8. Take payment and issue receipts.
  9. Provide wristbands and non-jump passes.
  10. Answer phone.
  11. Provide customer service with matters that may surface during their stay.
  12. Prepare for parties and special events. Greet party guests upon arrival.
  13. Open and close park on assigned shift. Ensure opening and closing procedures are followed.
  14. Keep park areas clean.
  15. Janitorial duties as assigned by manager.

Physical Requirements: 

  1. Ability to stand, jump, and move around for long periods of time. 
  2. Ability to watch and communicate.
  3. Ability to lift 20 lbs. or less.

Key Qualifications:

  • Outstanding customer service and leadership skills
  • Previous leadership/supervisor experience
  • Self-motivated and disciplined
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to understand and use various computer software
  • Understanding of iPad's preferred
  • Certified in first aid and CPR
